This publication was created to compliment Allan Macintyre’s Volcanic Landscapes exhibit at the Rubin Center. His show combined the artists own black and white photos of various volcanic areas around the world, as well as illustrations inspired by them. I focused on the contrast between his black and whites and his brightly colored drawings to design a way to display his work in a catalog. I drew color choices from his illustrations for all backgrounds and titles to emphasize the contrast between both of his creations.
