We have visited this plane a few times before… This time I art directed the trailer, teaser and key art (while wrangling 17 other videos for different campaigns).
Our trailer hit #1 trending on YouTube, and this turned into our best selling set to date.
Our producer Jeff and I worked with the team at Axis Studios, who were also our partners on the War of the Spark and Ikoria trailers, to bring this very ambitious story together. The process was very long and productive thanks to team Axis, who’s focus and attention to detail mirrored my own. This collaboration allowed me to do the deepest dive into our characters, environments, stories and help curate it all. I also worked with the overseas crew on overnight voice recordings, as well as mocap sessions for stunts and acting.
Our teaser was executed by Realtime UK. It was a smaller endeavor than the trailer, all things considered, but still stunning and effective at hyping up our viewers about returning to Zendikar.
